WendyLous Natural Bath

May. 2nd, 2008 | 12:45 pm

I got 2 linen sprays (in lavender and lavender vanilla to help me relax) from a bath and body product seller WendyLousNaturalBath. The transaction was so fast and my linen sprays are great. I ordered on a Thursday night and they were shipped on Friday and I got it Tuesday. Her labels are really pretty and the price was great!

Cookie plush charm!

Apr. 29th, 2008 | 04:53 pm

I made this funny little chocolate chunk cookie plush out of felt. It is approx. 2.5" and has a clasp attached to is so you can put it on your cell phone charm, key chain or use it as a zipper pull. You can even take out the clasp and just keep it as a mini plush toy.

Benefit

Apr. 27th, 2008 | 11:30 am

I got 3 new Benefit products yesterday.

"Her glossiness"
"Dr. Feelgood"
"Bo-oing"

www.benefitcosmetics.com

Here's a picture of the products I own, the three in the back are the ones I still have not finished. "Dear John" is a good moisturizer and it's not that expensive.

(I wanted this too)

Strawberry Cake 1

Apr. 15th, 2008 | 02:22 pm

So I tried to make another new recipe for a batch of my mini cakes. It turned out fine but not what I wanted. Next time I will try to use strawberry extract instead of fresh strawberries in the batter and make it more of a vanilla cake. Then I could put slices of fresh strawberries in between and use a vanilla buttercream frosting.

I also slipped on the pink food coloring. The icing is neon. Next time I'll use red to make a lighter pink frosting almost white.

New Loves

Apr. 13th, 2008 | 11:21 pm

I have found 2 new loves. One of which I have re-discovered, tea. The other Sex and the City Dvds which my boyfriend got me.

I hope to post about my favorite tea company (psst... My Cup of Tea) based here in Montreal but for now I will tell you about a yummy relaxing herbal tea by Tazo. I got it at an "up scale" pharmacy but I hear that you can get it  Starbucks. It is one of Tazo's Herbal Infusions called Calm™. It's made with chamomile, hibiscus flowers, spearmint leaves, rose petals, blackberry leaves, peppermint leaves, safflower, lemon balm, and lemon grass. They say there is no caffiene, but it's addictive. Yummy.

The website is very cool: www.tazo.com

M.A.C Lip Care

Apr. 11th, 2008 | 04:47 pm

Today I picked up a M.A.C Tinted Lip Conditioner Stick with SPF 15 from the Strobe collection. I picked the "Strobe Beam" which is the clear one. It's so soft works really well. It's important to use SPF even on your lips (hehe).

PS: The new Heatherette collection looks great.

TVAL is a company from Newfoundland. They have skincare, soaps (yes that is a cupcake shaped soap in lemon), hair care, bath treats, creams, scrubs and make-up, wax melts.

www.tvalskincare.com

Here's a photo of some of their products I own:

The Pineapple Whipped sugar(scrub) smells like yummy pineapple sunshine goodness and it is thick and gloriously scrubby but still moisturizing.

Pineapple Vanilla bath treat iz YUMMY.

Natural Deoderants (Etsy)

Apr. 9th, 2008 | 12:16 pm

If you are like me, the regular old pharmacie antiperspirants full of chemicals and strong smells have never been good to you. Since most of us *ahem* get a little stinky there on a hot day you keep going back to pick those horrible sticks of chemical pore clogging paste because you think there is nothing else out there. Well... I have found great natural deodorant sticks at www.etsy.com. All you need to do is type "deodorant" in the search feature and you will find many by different sellers.

I have found some that have caught my eye by 2 great e-tailers. Both with over 1,500 (100%) positive feedback.

1- SpaTherapy

This is the one I use. She is a great seller and her product is great. I have this particular one which is Green Tea Cucumber. The smell is fantastic and refreshing.
6$ +shipping for 2 oz. stick

2- CozyMoments

Everything she sells looks amazing! I have read nothing but good reviews on line about this seller.

Eyeko (Cosmetics)

Apr. 9th, 2008 | 10:07 am

I first came across Eyeko's fat lip balms on the Urban Outfitters website. SO CUTE! Eyeko is a cosmetic company from the UK with some of the cutest packaging I have ever seen. Shipping is a little expensive since it's from the UK but not over the top (around 20$ CAD). It does say "Free Worldwide Shipping" on the first page but I am not sure how that works. (I Will look into this)

www.eyeko.com

There are a few of their products available at www.cherryculture.com which is a US website so the shpping is cheaper.
